WHO WE ARE
Prior to Paradigm Hotels, Brian served as a Director at hospitality company Sonder, where he managed the company’s property portfolio. Before joining Sonder, Brian served as Director of Investor Relations for the investment manager, Fairholme Capital Management and directed the acquisition of a three-acre assemblage for the firm’s corporate headquarters and arts foundation. Brian also held operational roles at Jorge Perez's Related Group where he led hotel operations & development. He got his start in the hospitality world working for Goldman Properties on the Wynwood assemblage.
Brian serves on the Board of Directors of the Bass Museum of Art, Miami Beach’s contemporary arts museum.
He received a Masters degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelors degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship by the US State Department.
Ben was an early employee at Sonder, spearheading real estate acquisitions and helping to grow the company’s portfolio in its early stages. He launched the Miami market for Sonder and grew the global portfolio to 2,000 units. Before Sonder, Ben led sales at Gridics, a Miami-based real estate data and analytics software company. Prior to Gridics, Ben was a commercial real estate broker at Fortune International selling notable land projects to high profile developers throughout Florida. Ben started his real estate career in the 2008-09 financial crisis structuring vehicles to purchase distressed debt collateralized by real estate from failed lenders.
Ben studied photography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California. He is an accomplished water sports enthusiast having competed in wakeboarding competitions.
We are currently seeking proposals for the ground-up development consisting of 28 luxury island residences with condo quality finishes. Entire building available for master-lease for a qualified operator.
We provided comprehensive advisory support to the owner/developer of the project, Turnberry, to convert an originally planned multi-family development into a hospitality product. We ultimately selected San Francisco based hospitality company, Sonder, as an operator. Currently the property offers 23 luxury residences available for nightly stays.
